Social Media: A problem or solution?

As technology continues to grow, the digital world is equally growing at a fast pace. Today, there are many social media sites that are coming up each day. In fact, there are so many sites that one cannot be in all of them. Even a 9-year-old today have an internet enabled phone and can therefore access social media. Since the emergence of social media, people have received it with mixed feelings. While some people think social media has many benefits, others think otherwise. However, whether social media is a problem or a solution depends on the person you ask. Just like many disadvantages have been seen for using social media, there are many benefits attached to it as well. But the big question still remains, is social media a solution or a problem?

In my paper, I will compare the cons and pros of social media in different area; social benefits vs. social disadvantages, Benefits in business vs. disadvantages in business and I will discuss the security issues that social accrue.  

The paper will be based on the fact that the social media is a problem rather than a solution.
